Despite the fact that The Elder has the First ER Trip Award, The Younger has captured the coveted First Stitches Award.
In a acrobatic move called the Backwards Chair Drop, The Younger won the First Stitches Award by using the back of the chair as a buffer from the hardwood floor.
The Younger lost no points in Choreography as his performance did not result in a concussion. For his efforts, he left East Tennessee Children’s Hospital with 3 stitches and a Mayfield Cherry Popsicle. Of course, when all is said and done, that was “One Pricey Popsicle”
Neither The Elder nor The Younger would comment on the First Broken Bone Award…
OMG I hope your baby is ok!!! That would have scared the crap outa me!

LOL, well at least you were able to keep your sense of humour about it. I read the post on top of this first and my heart dropped…younger split head open, wife heading for ER, run run run moving run run moving run???? I kept scrolling trying to find where you said the kid was ok and then it dawned on me that it must have been a reference to a prior post. LOL I’m glad he’s ok! Those head injuries bleed so much they seem worse than they really are.

Hmm, we have not experienced any of that yet. Our son is 9 and he gets banged up pretty badly by playing around, but so far no trips to the ER.
Our daughter, who is 3, will probably win all the awards. She is quite a bit more daring.
