I’ve been meaning to blog about this for about a week now, but when I heard that Star Trek fans are making their own episodes (and apparently good quality), I had to spread the word about this movie. If you haven’t heard about this free Amateur Star Wars movie then sit down (oh wait, you probably are) and see what the news is about.

Star Wars Revelations

From the website:
“‘Revelations’ is a non-profit Star Wars fan film that was shot within the Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC Metro Area. ‘Revelations’ is made possible through a combined effort of artists, fans and the local film industry. Everyone who has worked on ‘Revelations’ is a volunteer. No one is paid to make this film. Panic Struck Productions set out to produce their first independent film with a very small budget and the result is ‘Revelations'”

?Revelations? takes place between Episodes 3 and 4 of the Star Wars Saga. Emperor Palpatine’s power has spread throughout the galaxy. Darth Vader is a feared figure. The Jedi are hunted fugitives. Anyone suspected of harboring Jedi or having any information about them is taken into Imperial custody.

Our heroine, Taryn Anwar, has broken way from Imperial control and is searching for an ancient Jedi artifact. Said to contain great power, it could be the key to destroying the Empire — if she can locate it before Zhanna, the Emperor?s Hand, does. It?s a race between good and evil as the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance.
