Howdy there, I am back and in full force. My trip went smoothly from start to finish. I will have a separate section for my Samoa trip, I do not think that I could fit it all here.
I got back last Monday, and it was not until Wednesday morning that I was back on EST. A few naps helped. I ran Autumnfest 8k on Thursday morning, Jen volunteered since she was not in shape for that distance. We then went to the Velases for Thanksgiving, which is becoming a wonderful tradition. The past few years we have fried a turkey, but this year it was the traditional baking of two turkeys. Marty’s cousin Karl was in town form California, whom I met in California while working a project with Chase. Karl is also a brew master at Manhattan Beach Brewery.
Our tree is up but our outdoor lights are not yet. I still have rake leaves, string up the lights and get some other yard work for Jen’s Christmas open house this year.
Virginia lost to Va Tech (Boo) but Furman is going to the second round of NCAA I-AA football playoffs (YAY).
